The Seacrest Fund

About The Seacrest Fund

The Seacrest Fund serves as the top fundraising priority at Seacrest Country Day School. Your gift is not just a donation, it is an investment that makes an immediate impact on our students by providing direct funding for our cutting-edge curriculum that tuition alone does not cover.

WHY DO WE NEED THE SEACREST FUND?
As an independent school we are a nonprofit organization operating without financial support from local or federal taxes. We rely on tuition income, your gifts to the Seacrest Fund and other fundraising efforts to support the day-to-day operation of our school.

WHY NOT JUST RAISE TUITION?
If we raised our tuition to fully cover our operating costs, we would price ourselves higher than other independent and private schools in the area and beyond the means of many Seacrest families. In addition, your gifts to the Seacrest Fund are tax-deductible, while tuition is not.

WHY GIVE IN THE FALL?
While we can support the Seacrest Fund all year long, a gift you make in the fall allows us to use those dollars in the current school year to fund programs and educational experiences that will benefit your children today.

WHY DOES 100% PARTICIPATION MATTER?
Healthy Annual Funds help create healthy schools. Seacrest’s Annual Fund is an effort by the entire community to support the people and programs that make Seacrest unique. We continually have 100% participation from our faculty, staff, and Board of Trustees. Our goal this year is 100% participation at any level from all of our families. Your gift, large or small, honors Seacrest’s history and builds the future for our students for generations to come.
